Progress to Date.

Saturday 10 June 2006 @ 11:42 pm

Dave over at BrightonVibes posted his earnings to date, and a request/suggestion for others to post theirs for comparison purposes.

So here’s mine:

So you think I’m lying?!?

Monday 13 March 2006 @ 10:24 am

There are probably a number of people who don’t believe me about what I am earning. Which is strange because I am not making wild claims or even earning a huge amount like some people I know.

I even had one person post a comment on an earlier article (here) saying that it was all in my head, so here is some proof. Remember this is only a copy of my adsense cheque (check for Americans). In addition to this I receive payments from various other advertising networks each month as well.

2 New Sites

Wednesday 8 March 2006 @ 11:44 pm

So I have put two more sites online.

The first PimPR came about because of people always asking about what their future Google Page Rank would be. I decided to write the most accurate Future Page Rank Calculator. I believe I suceeded. Enjoy this fantastic tool!

Update!! I’ve learned something important - forget money!

Monday 9 January 2006 @ 3:16 pm

It has been quite a while since I wrote anything here in my working blog.

It has been very hectic, things were looking fantastic, I was going to hit my next milestone and my target of $70 a day by December, and then everything went belly up.

I became far too focused on making money, the result that amount I was earning dropped, which resulted in me trying harder and harder to make money. It seemed that the harder I tried the worse it got.

It’s official, I’m a 4 figure online worker!

Saturday 29 October 2005 @ 11:06 pm

As of this evening my earnings for the year have passed the four figure amount ($1000). That might not sound like much considering it is almost november, but over 80% of that was earned in the last 25 days I think that shows a great improvement.

I haven’t quite managed to earn $50 in one day as yet, but I got very close a couple of times in the last week ($1.11 short).

If you assume that my average monthly earnings will stay around the current mark then over the next year I should make it into the 5 figure earning group!

$25 a day

Wednesday 12 October 2005 @ 8:30 pm

Passed the $25 mark today…

Up to now I have been setting a goal for $5 more than the previous maximum as my near term goal, I’ve decided to up the ante and make the next goal $50 a day.

My mid term goal is to be doing $70 a day by christmas, and by september next year I want to be doing $233 a day ($7K a month)

A Visual Representation of my Progress

Tuesday 11 October 2005 @ 10:45 pm

I made a bit of time this evening and decided to start working on all those reports that I haven’t done. While I was adding all the figures to my OpenOffice spreadsheet I decided to graph the end result.

This graph does not include any consulting income, it is purely revenue generated from advertising on my websites and also affiliate programs.

Earning by day & YTD

The very obvious spike in the graph is the day I earned $31 in revenue from one affiliate program. These dollar amounts shown include all advertising and associate programs that have generated revenue since I started back in July.

Earnings Up again!

Tuesday 11 October 2005 @ 1:31 am

I have been ignoring my blogs recently, and that has to change, but my other websites are really starting to show some nice results.

Last week I reported that I’d almost hit $15 dollars in Adsense revenue in one day, well this week I’m happy to report that I passed the $15 mark last Wednesday.

Of course today is a Monday, and you know what that means, Yup another high mark was made. Today I earned over $20 in Adsense revenue. I think I am going to have to start making my goals higher amounts as I seem to be able to hit an increase of $5 pretty easily.

Choices in making money online

Wednesday 28 September 2005 @ 1:16 am

There are choices to be made, do you want to earn money writing blogs? Do you want to earn money being a webmaster, web designer, online programmer?

I’ve decided my true niche is webmaster/techy. So now I need some web properties that are going to generate some revenue. Here I also have choices, buy or build.

I decided to do both, I have a couple I have built, and a few I have bought.

I’m not a problogger!

Wednesday 28 September 2005 @ 12:46 am

I’ve decided that I’m not a problogger, I was never any good at writing anyway. That doesn’t mean that I’m giving up on my blogs, I am still going to continue with them, and one of these days I will get even this site up to date.
