Offline Online Working

For sometime now I have been an offline online worker.

Sounds like a contradiction I know, but essentially I have no Internet access from where I am living, so I have to do everything offline and then when I get near somewhere that has net access upload it all.

It’s difficult at times, I can’t just go and google something, but in other respects its great.

I am sure everyone has suffered from Internet wandering syndrome. Just wandering around reading sites, checking out the latest and greatest. I know I used to do it a lot, its a great way to waste your time.

As is email and instant messaging, both useful tools but they can easily distract you and also kill any creative process.

If you can relate to this then perhaps you should try working offline, perhaps download your email in the mornings, and then disconnect from the net.

Do your work, read emails, write replies, and then in the evenings upload it all.

You do need to be persistent and give it sometime, at first you will probably find your productivity drops, you may also need to set up your own local test server.

I’d be quite interested to hear how anyone goes giving it a try….

Glad your back online. I would love to know what kind of sites you build and how you get them to $6 a day in adsense. Care to share?

$6 a day is not an impressive amount, I was doing $50-$60 a day on average.

Basically it boils down to build something people want/need info on and then get it out there.

I always planned to make this blog about how I did things, but when I was doing good I never had the time, and now I have the time but not the stats.

I’ll try and be as detailed as possible and post more frequently about what I am doing.

    So stay tuned….
