Today my wife “retires”. Not because she has reached the age at which people normally retire, rather she is retiring because she wants to spend more time with our children.
We can afford to do this because of the income generated by our websites. We are doing some cost cutting (like giving up my office in town), but the main motivation behind that is to ensure the cash flow is there to put back into the business and make it grow even more.
I’ve actually been so busy arranging everything for today, that I’ve had to put some stuff on hold, that should all be sorted out in the next day or two. Since I will no longer have to be “Daddy Daycare” during the day, I should have far more time to work on the sites and projects.

Hey there,
What websites do you currently own and run? Just out of curiosity.
Also, thanks for the advice re: credit and prosper.com. I still have a number of options available and I am taking plenty of time to consider which one may be the best.

Whoops, I just realized that the second paragraph of my comment was actually meant for another blog. I think it’s because your blogs have similar templates: http://my-personal-finance-blog.com/
But still, I’m curious to know about the sites that you run.
