Generic Profile
You may remember that I started this experiment with 5,437 friends on the 20th June 2006. As of right now the friend count on this profile is sitting at 24,179.
I have been using this account to advertise two of my sites. The first one is my new Profile site for MySpace, the results are definately in on this one, The site has been in the black for sometime, see below for more details.
The second site is a support site that I have been slowly building up, I began using this profile to advertise it and the response has been huge. The site has taken on a life of it’s own and is fast becoming a useful resource.
I don’t have any intention of running advertising on this site, instead it will become a funnel for some other sites I have planned for the future.
Vertical Market Profile:
I have been very busy wth the Generic Profile and haven’t done a lot with this one. I have so far collected 602 friends (Started with 4). I have yet to use it for any marketing activities but already it is showing results.
I am receiving questions about the site, and I am seeing a jump in the number of visitors (and the income).
I am planning to do some more friend recruitment for this profile over the next few days. New Profile Site:
My new MySpace Profile site has gone crazy, large amounts of visitors (new and returning) and a very high CTR. The site is doubling it’s income approximately every 24 hours. I am using a mix of AdSense and AzoogleAds (aff link) on the site.
AzoogleAds (aff link) are a high paying CPA network that have some very good offers for people of the MySpace generation.
Summary:
Positive results on all fronts, except for the lack of sleep and a life on my part. I have been spending so much time dealing with new friends that it hasn’t left a lot of time for other things.
The friend requests are starting to slow down a bit, which is what I expected, so I am now managing to get more things done.

Mike Blogmaster
Hi there,
I found your blog earlier today from http://www.internetmarketingsucks.com and I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve read so far!
By the way, I have a myspace-related site that I’m promoting. Can you please email me (your email address is not listed here)? I have a question that I’d like to ask you outside of a public forum.
Thanks!
Jeff
