Buying Scripts

I was cruising around sites the other day and I came across www-one-dollar-a-day.com, it’s not a bad site either, well worth a read.

While I was there I discovered that the owner of that site has a MySpace bulletin generator for sale. I’d been meaning to code one of these for a while, but lack of time meant I never got to it. The script was only $20, so I thought I may as well just buy it.

I would of been better off coding it myself, the script as delivered doesn’t work, it’s my own fault I should of checked before buying.

Anyway I’ve modified mine and it now works, but I spent more than $20 in time fixing it. Just remember to check things out fully before you buy, it might save you a lot of stress.

Hi, what do you mean the script doesn’t work? MySpace updated their code a little but I have now updated the script to take account of this. Please e-mail me if you would like the fix…it’s very simple and takes seconds to implement :)

It didn’t work when I bought it, but I fixed that easily enough, getting it working with a proper repost took a bit longer though. (btw the one on your site doesn’t work unless you fixed that too)

Anyway no stress, happy I bought it in the end. (it’s doing very nicely)

Well my space have put the hash codes on bulletins, that makes it a bit of a pain for remote bulletin creation, No matter though the script is still very useful.

I really need to update you all on my Myspace adventures, because it has been an amazing and busy week.
