On my main work computer I use Firefox as a browser, additionally I have all of the following plugins loaded.

• Live HTTP Headers - Shows the headers returned from a website
• Copy as HTML Link - Takes a URL and turns it into a HREF
• CookieSafe - Cookie Manager
• JSView - View External Javascript Easily
• HeaderGetter - Get the headers returned on a link
• Ctrl Tab Preview - Scrollable images of your open tabs
• HashColouredTabs - Different coloured tabs for different websites
• New Tab Button on Tab Bar - Exactly what it says

As an editor I’m still using Homesite 4.0, I still consider it to be the most useful editor for web pages available.

Another tool I have is something called ArticleMiner, basically it gives me an easy interface to mange reprintable articles. I can search, select, upload, and a lot more with this tool. Unfortunately for you only a limited number of this product was sold and then it was withdrawn from the market.

For an image editor I use TheGimp which is a free and opensource graphics tool.
