It’s been a while since I posted anything to this site, and I don’t have  any deadlines to meet tonite so I am finally getting around to writing some new posts.

This is a general update on where things are and then I’ll do a few more posts on specific items I want to cover.

This blog gets a lot of attempted spam comments, due to the way I have set it up I don’t think any get through, note to spammers, it is pointless trying to spam here.

 Income

Over the last two months my income has taken a bit of a nose dive, Google has decided to send one or two of my sites to supplemental hell, so those sites get hardly any traffic from google anymore, they continue to get nice traffic from Yahoo and to a lesser extent Ask and MSN.

I’m hoping with the recent announcements from Google about some issues that these things will be fixed soon.

Sites Update

I have recently put up a MySpace Resource Site and a Funny Video/Picture Site. So far they are both doing reasonably well. I still have a lot of work to do on them, but the income is starting to dribble in.

I also created another video game cheat code site, this time I used a .nz domain name for it, the idea being see how much difference using a ccTLD makes in gaining traffic from that  Country. So far it seems to be working, while .nz is not the highest source of traffic to the site it is quite high in the list. The site itself is doing quite well too, and google seems to quite like it.

Research

I’ve been looking into MySpace, what can it be used for, and how can traffic/income be generated from it. I believe that there is a considerable amount to be made from MySpace and similar sites, I’m currently in the process of attempting to do so. The MySpace resource site I mentioned above is part of that attempt. I will post more details on it when I have finished my research.
